Reservations and Conference Coordinator Full Time

The 166-bedroom Ramada Hotel and Suites Coventry City Centre is just off Exit 7 of the Coventry Ring Road; all bedrooms and suites have stunning views overlooking the historic City Centre and County of Warwickshire. It has a dedicated training and meetings floor and a dedicated executive lounge.

Ramada Hotel and Suites Coventry City Centre is also home to the award-winning Queen’s Road Restaurant, offering a mix of traditional favourites and British fusion food, from ‘breakfast to bedtime’.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Reservations and Conference Coordinator to join the team.

Job Purpose and Duties
To assist in reservations and conference activities to convert customer enquiries into confirmed sales and to ensure all reservations are inputted into the system and deliver an enhanced customer experience.
Maximise all revenue opportunities across reservations and conference enquiries.
Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel.
Support the culture of high-quality standards for relationship building, customer care, selling techniques and billing and processing contracts.
Assist with the organisation of hotel promotional activities.
Following the demand calendar for conference and event rates.
Assist in the production of events sheets and effectively communicate to the operations team.
Actively sell and promote the hotel.
Assist in sales appointments, show-rounds and social events as required.
The Qualities of the Role:
The key talents are:
Demonstrated previous experience in a reservations and/or conference and event sales function in the hotel/leisure sector.
Excellent selling capability.
Excellent organisational and planning skills.
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
In addition, if you have a knowledge of the Protel Property Management system, that would be an advantage.

Your Hours of Work:
This is mostly weekday office hours, however some flexibility is required to work occasional weekends and evenings.
